Pawan Saloon

Our place is located on the ground floor over in Thakurdari, right on Aquatica Road. It is quite easy to find since we are so close to the Aquatica water park. Because of where we are, we see a lot of different people passing by, but most of our regulars are the guys who live right here in the 700102 area. The shop isn't very big, but we make it work with what we have. We have the standard barber chairs and a row of combs and clippers that stay busy from the time we open until we close up at night. The walls have some old posters on them and the lighting is just normal tube lights that hum a little bit if you listen closely. It gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic going towards the park, but inside it is just the sound of scissors clicking and the radio playing some songs. We try to keep the place tidy, but with hair falling all day, there is always a broom leaning against the back wall. People come in for a basic haircut or a clean shave. We don't have any of those fancy treatments you see in the big malls. It is just a practical spot for the local men to get groomed without any fuss. The tea stall nearby usually brings over a few cups during the afternoon slump when things quiet down for an hour or so.
