You can find us on the 3rd floor of 40 Strand Road. It’s an old building, the kind you find all over this part of the city. Being in the heart of the commercial district means it’s always crowded outside. We share the space between Ori-Plast Ltd. and Adventec Polymers Pvt. Ltd. It’s a lot of talk about pipes and plastic resins throughout the day. The ceilings are high, and the windows look out over the busy street below. You can hear the horns honking all afternoon. We don’t have a flashy lobby or anything. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and samples of plastic scattered around. The tea man comes around twice a day, and that’s when everyone takes a break. We’ve been in this spot for quite some time, so we know all the local vendors. Our work involves a lot of coordination between the plants and the customers. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Sometimes the stairs are faster than the lift when the building is busy. We keep things simple here. No one wears a suit unless there’s a really big reason to. We just focus on the orders and making sure the polymer shipments are on track. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of files, but it’s a good place to work. Strand Road has a certain energy that keeps us going even on the slow days.
