We are located at 153/1, Jessore Road in the Dum Dum area. If you’ve ever traveled down Jessore Road, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and buses. Temsec Rubber Pvt. Ltd. is right in the middle of that hustle. We work with rubber products, so there’s often a very specific smell around the shop that you get used to after a few days. The building itself is an older one, but it serves our purpose well enough. We have machines for molding and cutting rubber into different shapes and sizes. It’s a bit messy, as rubber scraps tend to get everywhere, but we try to sweep up at the end of the shift. Working in Dum Dum means we are close to the airport, so we hear planes overhead quite often. Our team is mostly made up of local people who have been doing this for a long time. We aren’t trying to change the world; we’re just making rubber parts that people need for their machines or cars. Some days are busier than others, especially when a large order comes in unexpectedly. We just put our heads down and get through the stack of work. It’s honest, physical labor for the most part. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just have our factory on Jessore Road and the work we do every day.
