Our workshop is tucked away at 34D on Pashupati Bhattacharjee Road. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for it, but Santoshi Maa Moulders has been a fixture here for quite some time. The air usually smells a bit like warm plastic and hard work. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, especially back where the moulding machines are running, but we’re all used to it by now. We started small, just a couple of guys trying to figure out how to make things work, and we’ve stayed pretty grounded even as we got more machines in. There’s a lot of manual labor involved in what we do, so everyone here knows what it means to have a long day. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone fancy to handle the phones; usually, whoever is closest to the desk just picks it up. Most of our neighbors around here are other small businesses or families who have lived on this road for generations. We like the neighborhood vibe. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up a batch, and you can hear the street noise quiet down while we’re still inside getting it done. It’s not a glamorous job, but it feels good to see a finished product ready to go out the door. We just try to be practical about things and keep the shop running steady. It is what it is, and we like it that way quite a bit.
