If you find yourself on Grant Lane, you will know it is one of those narrow, crowded streets where everything is packed together. We are on the first floor of 2B. It is an old building, the kind with steep stairs that make you realize you need to get more exercise. Balaji Rotomoulders has been operating from this little corner for quite a while. Downstairs, the street is full of people selling all sorts of things, and the noise never really stops until late at night. Up here in the office, we manage the production of our plastic tanks. We do not actually do the heavy moulding in this specific room, as it is more of the heart of the business side. We handle the orders, talk to the suppliers, and try to keep the schedules on track. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples lying around the floor. The light in the office isn't the best, but we have some good fans to keep the air moving. Dealing with rotomoulding means we are always thinking about dimensions and wall thickness, even when we are just sitting at a desk. It is a busy life, and Grant Lane isn't the easiest place to get to if you are driving a car, but it is where we have always been. We know the other folks in the building, and we usually share a bit of news over a quick break. It is just a normal workplace, nothing more and nothing less.
