Oriental Fibre & Engineering Industries

We are up on the 5th floor of White Towers. It is right at 115 College Street. If you know the area, you know it is always bustling with students and bookstores. Oriental Fibre & Engineering Industries has been operating out of this spot for a good while. The elevator in the building can be a little slow sometimes, so we often end up taking the stairs if we are in a hurry, though five floors is a bit of a climb. The office is full of old files and drawings from various engineering projects. It is a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We deal with fibres and engineering stuff mostly. It isn't a flashy business, just steady work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. College Street has a certain energy that you don't get elsewhere in the city. There is always noise coming up from the street, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our space is functional. We have some desks, a few old chairs, and plenty of paper everywhere. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that is the highlight of the afternoon. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We are just a group of people doing engineering work in an old building. It’s a simple setup. If you find yourself near the towers, that is where you will find us. We've been here long enough that the walls feel familiar.
