It is a residential neighborhood mostly, with a lot of trees and older houses. Our office is just a regular building where we go to work every morning. There is no big lobby or polished marble floors. It is just a functional space where we keep our files and do our jobs. Kolkata can be very loud and crowded, especially during the festivals, and Garia is no exception. We can hear the distant sounds of the city throughout the day. People in Panchasayar are generally quiet and keep to themselves. We have been here for a while now, and we have become part of the local scenery. We do not put on any airs about being a big company; we just work out of our spot at C-36. The office inside is simple. We have what we need to get the job done and nothing more. It is a very grounded way to work. We appreciate the local shops nearby where we can get a quick tea. It feels like a real, working-class part of Kolkata, which suits us just fine.
