You can find Nilja Shipping on the first floor of 23A Royd Street, right near Park Street. We're in Room 101. It’s a small office, but it's enough space for what we do every day. Shipping is a complicated business with all the rules, but we try to keep it simple for the people who come to us. We’ve been in this part of town for a good while. The Royd Street area is always lively, and there’s always something going on outside our windows. Inside, it’s mostly just us handling documents and talking to port authorities. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home to our families. Shipping involves a lot of waiting sometimes, and we spend a lot of time checking on where containers are. It’s not always exciting, but it’s steady work that we understand. We know the local guys around Park Street, and we’ve made some good connections over the years. We handle the day-to-day tasks that come with moving goods across the sea. Sometimes there are delays at the docks, and we have to spend the whole afternoon on the phone trying to clear things up. It’s just part of the job.
