You can find us at 101/2, Rai Bahadur Road in Behala. We’ve been operating from this location for quite some time now, and it has become a very familiar spot for many people in this neighborhood. Our work days usually start long before the sun comes up because that’s when the best produce is available at the big markets. We don't outsource the shopping to anyone else; we go ourselves to check every bag of vegetables. Our setup isn't flashy or particularly modern. We still use traditional methods and big open fires for most of our heavy cooking tasks. It really makes a difference in how the final food turns out. Sometimes the kitchen feels like a total madhouse when we’re trying to pack everything up for a big event, with everyone shouting different instructions at once. But we’ve done it so many times now that there is a certain rhythm to the chaos. We don't bother with fancy slogans or making big promises we can't keep. We just tell people exactly what we can do and then we go out and do it. If we run into a problem, like a sudden delivery delay, we tell the customer straight instead of hiding it. Being honest is just easier than making up excuses. We’ve served a lot of families around Behala over the years and we’ve seen kids grow up and hire us for their own events. It's a nice feeling to be a part of those moments.
