New Star Gents Beauty Parlour

Our parlour is over at FE-4 in Vidyasagar Pally. It’s a quiet part of Kolkata near the Amra Sabha Club. We call it New Star Gents Beauty Parlour and it’s a simple spot for the local men. The building isn't new but we keep our shop tidy and the equipment is well-maintained. We have three chairs for customers and a small bench for waiting. Most of the people who come in live just a few houses away or belong to the club nearby. We do haircuts, shaves, and sometimes a head massage if someone is feeling tired after work. The neighborhood has a lot of trees so it stays a bit cooler here than in the middle of the city. We don't have a big fancy sign, just a regular one above the door. People like coming here because they don't have to dress up or act special. We just talk about football or the local news while the work gets done. It’s a friendly place and we know exactly how each regular customer likes their hair cut without them even asking. We stay open late into the evening because that’s when most of the men get back from their offices in other parts of Kolkata. It’s just an honest local shop doing regular work for the people around us. We are just a few people trying to earn a living in our own neighborhood.
