Shams Stores

We are situated on the 1st Floor of the New Market New Complex, right at Shop N-1-14. Our shop, Shams Stores, is very close to the escalator, so we have a constant stream of people passing by our door all day. It’s a busy environment and the mall music is always playing in the background. The shop itself is quite small, so we have to be very careful about how we stack our items on the shelves. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make sure everything fits and that people can actually walk inside. When the mall gets crowded on the weekends, it can feel a little tight in here. We know most of the other shopkeepers on this floor, and we often chat during the slower parts of the morning. Sometimes the escalator stops working and the whole floor gets a bit quieter, which gives us a chance to do some deep cleaning and organize the stock. We don't have a big window for displays, so we just put our most interesting items near the entrance. The light in the complex is very bright and stays on all day long. It's a simple retail life, sitting behind the counter and helping whoever walks in. We keep a small kettle for making tea in the back corner for when we get a quiet moment.
