National Caterer

We operate out of Lake Road, specifically near the Sarat Bose Road area in Kolkata. The address for National Caterer is 2 Lake Road, and it’s a busy part of the city. We’ve been doing catering work around here for quite some time now. Mostly, we handle the food for local events like weddings, birthdays, or just small family get-togethers. It’s a lot of coordination. One day we are packing up big containers of rice and the next we are dealing with a list of starters for a party. The kitchen stays pretty warm and there is always the sound of chopping or water running. We don’t have a big fancy office. It’s more about the work we do on-site at different venues. People around Sarat Bose Road know us mostly by word of mouth. We don’t go around making big claims. We just show up with the food and the plates and get to it. Sometimes things are a bit chaotic when three events happen on the same day, but we manage. My team has been with me for a while, so they know how I like things done. We focus on the cooking and making sure there is enough for everyone. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet all year round. We spend hours preping vegetables and making sure the spices are just right for each big pot we cook. It's a tiring job but it feels good when the event is over and the pots are empty.
