Nandas Kitchen

We’ve been over at Ae 18 in Sector 1 for a good while now. It’s right near the foot bridge in Salt Lake. The kitchen is usually a bit noisy, especially during the lunch rush when the stoves are going. It started because we just liked cooking for people in the neighborhood. Some days are busier than others. We don't have fancy signs or a big team, just a few of us making food that reminds us of home. Sometimes the delivery guys have a hard time finding the exact spot, but if you look for the bridge, you’ll see us. We buy the vegetables from the local market every morning. It's nothing fancy, honestly. Just a small place where the steam gets on the windows when it rains. People stop by on their way home from work to pick up something to eat. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the phone rings too much and things get a bit chaotic. That’s just how it is here. We focus on the recipes we learned from our families. The space is small, so we mostly do takeaways. Salt Lake has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed in this same corner. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a steady spot where you can get a decent meal without any fuss.
