Multi Forwarders Pvt Ltd is located on the 1st floor of 5A, N C Dutta Sarani, near the Calcutta GPO. It’s a busy part of town, and our building is right in the thick of things. We are just one flight up, which is nice when the elevator is broken or too slow. The office is a simple place where we handle forwarding for different kinds of goods. There’s always a lot of chatter and the sound of printers going. N C Dutta Sarani is a street that never seems to sleep, so there’s a lot of noise from outside. We focus on getting the cargo moving and keeping track of all the different steps involved in forwarding. It’s not always easy, especially when there are delays at the port or with the trucks. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that; we just have ourselves and our years of experience in this neighborhood. Most of our work is done through emails and phone calls, making sure everyone knows where the freight is. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the office feels like home to us now. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. We don't make big promises, we just do the work that comes across our desks every day. If you come by, you’ll probably see us buried in files or drinking a cup of tea between calls. That's just our routine.
