Mousumi Caterer

Mousumi Caterer is located over at 59/60 Bagmari Road. We've been based in the Kankurgachi area for quite some time now and we know the streets here well. This part of Kolkata is always moving and full of life, and our kitchen is usually doing the same thing. We handle a lot of different events, mostly local stuff for families living around here in the neighborhood. Our setup on Bagmari Road isn't really a restaurant where you sit down to eat, but more of a home base where all the cooking and planning happens for our orders. Dealing with food for big groups of people takes a lot of space and a lot of hands to get it right. We have a small team that helps with the prep work and getting the deliveries out on time. Most people who call us are from around here, or they've heard about us from a friend's wedding or a small birthday party we did before. We don't really do much advertising or marketing; the work just comes in by word of mouth mostly. Kankurgachi is a busy hub, so getting the vans in and out can be a bit of a challenge with the traffic sometimes. We just focus on getting the food orders right and making sure there is enough for everyone to eat. The 700054 pin code area is where we grew up, so it feels right to be working here. It is just a straightforward catering business run by local people who know how to cook for a crowd. We keep our equipment clean and our recipes very simple.
