Modern Caterer

Modern Caterer is tucked away at P 146, Mudialy Road in the Garden Reach area. The name might sound a bit fancy, but we are a very traditional setup. The space we have isn't huge, but we make it work by staying organized. We spend a lot of time dealing with the local suppliers who bring us what we need every morning. Garden Reach can be a hectic place, and Mudialy Road has its own rhythm. We fit right into that. There is no corporate structure here; it’s just the owner and a few helpers who know the ropes. We handle everything from the cleaning to the packing ourselves. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when three different orders are due at the same time, and you’ll hear a lot of shouting back and forth in the kitchen. It’s not out of anger, just the stress of getting things right. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make food for people who need it for their events. The bins are always full of vegetable peels and the sinks are usually piled with dishes. That’s just the reality of a working kitchen. We’ve been at this for a while and don't see ourselves changing much. We just keep doing what we know how to do, right here on Mudialy Road, without making a big fuss about it.
