Micasa

Our office is on the 6th floor of Crescent Tower. The address is 229A on Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Road, which most people just call AJC Bose Road. We share the floor with a few other businesses, so the hallway can be a bit crowded when everyone is coming in for work at the same time. The elevator is sometimes a bit slow, so you have to be patient if you are coming up to see us. Once you get inside our unit, it is pretty straightforward. We have some desks, a lot of paper, and the usual computers. The view from the sixth floor looks out over the city, which is nice when you need to take a break for a minute and clear your head. We are right there near Lala Lajpat Rai Sarani, so it is a central enough spot for everyone to get to. It is a busy part of Kolkata, and the sounds of the street definitely reach us even up here on the sixth floor. We spend our days mostly answering emails and dealing with the usual paperwork that piles up on the corner of the table. It is not a fancy place with a lobby or a receptionist, just a working office where we try to stay organized. Most of the time it is just the sound of typing and the occasional person walking in to drop something off.
