Manjus Food & Art Studio

We've been here at 19 Ballygunge Park Road for quite some time now, right across from the Ice Skating rink. It’s a bit of a different kind of place because we do both food and art things here. Most days you’ll find us busy with either a kitchen project or someone working on a canvas in the studio space. It gets quite lively around here, especially when there are events happening at the rink across the street. We aren't a big fancy operation, just a small group of us who like making things and feeding people. The studio is tucked into this part of Ballygunge and we’ve become a regular spot for folks living nearby. Sometimes the paint smells mix with whatever is cooking, which sounds weird but it works for us. We don't really do the whole corporate thing, it's more about having a space where things happen naturally. If you're walking down the street near the park, you can't really miss us. We keep things pretty simple. The building has its own character and we just try to keep it going every day. It’s mostly about the work and the food, nothing too complicated. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years but we’re still here doing our bit with the brushes and the pans. It’s a lot of work but it feels right being in this corner of the city. We like it here.
