Mangalsutra Ladies Beauty Parlour

Located right in the middle of Jagatpur Bazar in Baguihati, Mangalsutra Ladies Beauty Parlour is a place many local women know well. Being on Jagatpur Main Road means it is always noisy outside with rickshaws and people buying vegetables. The shop itself is not very fancy, just a few chairs and mirrors where we do hair and basic skin stuff. We see a lot of people from around Kolkata 700059 every day. Most of the time, ladies stop by after finishing their grocery shopping because the market is right there. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always running at full speed. We have been here for a good while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just how things are in this part of town. We handle things like eyebrow threading and hair oiling mostly. During the wedding season, things get a lot busier and we stay open a bit later than usual. It is a small team here, just a few of us who know the regulars. We don't really do much advertising, people just see the sign while they are walking through the bazar. It is a simple life running a shop here. The floor gets covered in hair by the evening and we spend a lot of time cleaning up before heading home.
