We’ve been at Tarapada Bhandary 2 for a while now. It’s in the Eastern Park area of Kolkata, specifically on 2nd Road. If you know the neighborhood, it’s mostly busy with people moving around all day. We deal with steel, which isn't the cleanest job in the world, but it keeps us busy. The office gets a bit warm in the afternoons, especially during the summer months here. Most days are just spent looking at orders or checking on what’s coming in and out of the yard. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the shift. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is mostly just us here working through the paperwork and talking to drivers who come to pick up loads. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes things slow down, but that is just part of living in Kolkata. We’ve grown used to the noise from the street outside. People stop by sometimes just to ask for directions, which is fine. The building is simple and serves its purpose for what we do. We try to stay organized, but with steel, there is always a bit of dust and grit around on the desks. It’s just how the business is. We started out small and stayed in this spot because it works for us. Nothing too complicated about it. We just show up, do the work, and go home.
