Mahjabeen Caterer

Mahjabeen Caterer is based at 28/C Alimuddin Street, right there at Alimuddin Bamboo Villa near A J C Bose Road. It’s a very busy part of the city, and we are right in the middle of all the action. We’ve been cooking for the local community for a long time. Our kitchen is always humming with something being fried or boiled. We specialize in the kind of food people expect at a big celebration. It takes a lot of coal and wood sometimes to get those big degchis going. We have a solid team of cooks who have been together for a long time. We don't really bother with flashy signs or big ads. People usually find us by word of mouth. On the weekends, it is always a rush to get everything loaded into the transport. Traffic on AJC Bose Road is always a nightmare, so we have to plan our timings very carefully. We just want the food to be served hot and for the guests to be satisfied. It’s a lot of sweating over the stove and making sure the spices are balanced just right. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We are just a local catering team that knows how to feed a crowd. It’s tough work, but it’s what we know how to do.
