Mahabhoj Caterer

Mahabhoj Caterer is tucked away at 11/2H, Christopher Road. We are near the Gobinda Khatik Post Office and that Jiva Shiva Mission Girls School. It’s a bit of a tricky spot to find if you aren't from around here. We have been doing catering for a long time now. Most of our work is for the big parties where you have hundreds of people to feed. It takes a lot of planning and even more hands in the kitchen to get that done. We have a crew that has been with us for years. We all know the drill by now. When the season for weddings starts, we barely get any sleep. We are always cleaning pots or packing up the trucks. The area around Govinda Khatick Road gets really congested, so moving the equipment is always a chore. We don't really do the fancy marketing stuff you see online. Most of our customers come to us because they saw us at another party. We just focus on the cooking and making sure the staff knows where to go. It is a lot of heavy lifting and long hours, but we are used to it. We just try to keep the flavors traditional so people recognize the food. There is no secret to it, just a lot of practice and staying on our toes.
