Maersk Logistics India Pvt Ltd

Our workplace, Maersk Logistics India Pvt Ltd, is over at Jasmine Tower on Shakespeare Sarani. We occupy rooms 401 A/B and 402 A/B on the fourth floor. It’s a busy building in the Circus Avenue area. Getting here in the morning can be a bit of a struggle with all the cars on the road. The office is split across those few rooms, so we’re always popping back and forth between them. It’s a lot of walking for a small space. We have piles of papers on nearly every flat surface, and the printers are usually humming. The windows look out over the city, which is nice when you need a break from the computer. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy descriptions of what we do. We are just regular people handling logistics stuff. Sometimes the tea lady comes around, and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We’ve got some old posters on the walls and a clock that’s five minutes fast. It’s not perfect, but it’s our space. We focus on the daily grind and making sure the logs are updated. Most days go by pretty fast because there’s always something that needs fixing or checking. It's a straightforward place to work, and we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. We keep some extra folders in the hallway since the rooms are almost full. We usually close up a little earlier on Fridays if everything is done, but that doesn't happen very often these days.
