Jain Bag Works

We’ve been at No. 11 Madan Mohan Talla Street for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot, especially when we are moving materials around. People mostly know us as Jain Bag Works because that is what we do every day. We make all sorts of bags here. Sometimes the place gets a bit cluttered with fabric scraps and thread, but that is just how a workshop looks when people are actually working. It isn't a fancy showroom or anything like that. We just have our machines and a few tables where we get things done. Most of our neighbors stop by to say hello or ask if we have something specific in stock. We don't really do much advertising because word of mouth around the street usually keeps us busy enough. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but we know where everything is. If you walk down the lane, you’ll likely hear the sound of the sewing machines going. It is a steady noise that we have grown used to over the years. My father started this, and we just kept it going. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the heavy canvas and the zippers. It's honest work and it fills the day. We try to keep things organized, but on Mondays, it’s usually a bit of a mess with new orders coming in. That’s just life here at the shop.
