Maa Tara Saloon

Maa Tara Saloon sits on the ground floor over at Raghunathpur Tegharia Road. We are pretty easy to find since we are near the Muncipatty Office in Kolkata - 700059. It’s just a standard local saloon for the guys around here. We opened this place because we knew the area needed a spot for simple grooming. There isn't anything special about the decor, just some mirrors and the usual chairs you'd expect. We spend most of our day standing on our feet, cutting hair and making sure everyone looks neat. Sometimes the shop gets a little crowded on Sunday mornings. People wait their turn on the bench and talk about whatever is going on in the city. We try to keep things moving so nobody waits too long. Being near the Muncipatty Office means there's always someone walking by. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people by name. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time. We just do the basic stuff like hair cutting and beard trims. We don't use any of those expensive products you see in the malls. Just regular stuff that works. The fans keep the air moving during the hot months in Kolkata. We are just a small business trying to do honest work every day.
