Maa Laxmi Stall

Maa Laxmi Stall is a small spot over in Baruipur. We are situated near the Totanala post office area. If you know the Potashpur police station, we are in that general district of Purba Midnapur. It is a busy little corner of the world, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading out to work. We spend a lot of our time just organizing the stock and talking to the people who stop by. The stall isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack things. The dust from the road is a constant battle, so we are always wiping down the counters. We see a lot of the same faces every single day. Some people just come by for a quick chat while others are looking for specific things we carry. The rainy season is always a bit of a challenge because the ground around the stall gets soft, but we manage. We don't have any fancy signs or big lights. It is just a plain stall that has been here for a while. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down most days. Sometimes it gets lonely if the weather is bad and nobody is out on the road, but usually, there is enough happening to keep us occupied. It is honest work and it keeps us connected to the neighborhood here in Totanala. We just take it one day at a time.
