You can find M R Caterer over at 19, Brojodulal Street. We are located near Ganesh Talkies, which is a pretty well-known spot around Beadon Street. This part of the city is always crowded and the lanes are narrow, so getting around can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We’ve been here for years, working out of this old building. It’s got a lot of character, even if it’s a bit cramped inside. We don’t really do fancy marketing. Most of our work comes from people who live nearby or have known us for a long time. The kitchen is where we spend almost all our time. It’s a busy place with a lot of steam and heat. We deal with the daily hustle of Beadon Street every single day. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time parking on Brojodulal Street, but we make it work somehow. We are just a bunch of regular people who like to cook for others. There is no big boss here, just a team that knows what needs to happen. We get our ingredients from the local vendors every morning. It's a lot of physical labor, carrying heavy pots and sacks of rice, but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood knows us as the guys who are always busy in the kitchen. We don't plan on moving anytime soon. This is where we started and where we belong. It is just our way of life.
