Looks Hair Cut Saloon

The shop is right here on the ground floor of Naba Niketan Road in the Aswini Nagar area. If you know where the Jagatpur fish market is, we are basically right across from it. Being in Jagatpur means it stays pretty busy around here most of the day with people coming and going for their daily shopping. Inside the saloon, we have the usual setup with a few chairs and big mirrors that have seen better days. The floor gets covered in hair pretty quickly on Saturday mornings when everyone wants to look decent for the weekend. We have been here for a while now and most of the local guys from the neighborhood just drop in whenever they need a trim or a quick shave before work. Sometimes there is a wait if the chairs are full, but there is a bench where you can sit and watch whatever is on the small television we keep in the corner. We don't really do anything fancy or complicated. It is just a regular place where you get your hair cut and maybe talk about the weather or the price of fish at the market across the street. The fans stay on all day because Kolkata gets so humid and hot, but it stays okay inside. We keep our scissors sharp and the spray bottles filled up. It is a simple life running a shop in this part of town and we just keep things moving along one customer at a time.
