Lokenath Saloon

You can find Lokenath Saloon at 1 No. Dum Dum Road. We are located right near the Bharat Petrol Pump, which makes us very easy to spot if you are driving or walking by. This part of Kolkata is always crowded and full of life. Our saloon is a small, honest place where we have been working for many years. We have the basic barber chairs and the usual tools like clippers and scissors. We don't have any big posters or expensive furniture. Everything in the shop is there because it is needed for the work. Most of our customers are people who live right here in the Dum Dum area. They stop by on their way home or during their day off. We know most of them by their names. The shop can get quite hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going as fast as they can. We start our day early, sweeping the floor and getting the towels ready. There is always the smell of shaving cream and hair oil in the air. It is a familiar smell to us. We don't do anything complicated here. If someone wants a simple haircut or a clean shave, they come to us. We just focus on doing our job and keeping the shop running. It’s a busy life on Dum Dum Road, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We are just a local business doing our part.
