We are located over at 93/4 R.K. Chatterjee Road, which is right in the heart of the Calcutta-42 area. Biswajit Pal is usually around the office most days handling the local side of things. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy it gets with all the cars and people moving about. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular office where we get through the daily tasks. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but we’ve gotten used to it. Most of the people here have lived in this neighborhood for years, so we know the shortcuts through the side streets when the main road gets blocked up. We don’t really do much in the way of big announcements or anything like that. It’s mostly just making sure the paperwork is filed and the phones are answered. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out during the monsoon season. We usually have tea from the stall around the corner twice a day. It helps everyone stay awake when the afternoon slump hits. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on this street, but we’re still here, doing what we do. It’s just a standard workspace with a few desks and a lot of files stacked up in the corner. Nothing too complicated or flashy about how we run things here. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families in the evening.
