You can find us at B 13, Srijoni, which is in the 700104 part of Kolkata. This neighborhood has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a small part of it as Larsen & Toubro Limited. It’s not one of those high-rise office parks you see in the newer parts of the city. Instead, it’s a more grounded place where you can actually hear the sounds of the local street life. We have a modest setup here. The rooms are a bit cramped sometimes when everyone is in at once, but we make it work. We don't have any of that polished corporate decor. It’s just plain walls and functional furniture that has seen better days. The humidity in Kolkata can be a challenge, especially in the summer months, but we have our fans going and we just get on with things. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy entrance. If you come by, you’ll likely see us drinking tea and going over plans. We like the fact that it feels like a real neighborhood. There’s a sense of being part of the community here in Srijoni. We don't use big words or try to sound more important than we are. It’s just a group of people at B 13 doing their jobs and heading home when the sun goes down. It’s a very practical way to spend the work week in this city, and it keeps us busy.
