Lalchand Chhaganmal

Lalchand Chhaganmal is on the second floor at 176, J.L. Bajaj Street. Since we’re upstairs, it’s a bit quieter than the ground floor, but you still hear all the shouting and the horns from the street below. We’ve been operating under this name for a long time. It’s a family-run kind of thing, passed down or just kept going because it’s what we know how to do. The stairs are a bit steep, so you have to watch your step when you're coming up to see us. We’ve got desks and some storage space, and usually, there’s a fan humming in the background to keep the air moving. Being on J.L. Bajaj Street means we’re right in the middle of everything, which is helpful even if it is a bit chaotic sometimes. We don't spend money on decorating the place or anything fancy like that. It’s just the same walls and the same windows we’ve had for years. People know where to find us if they need to. Lalchand Chhaganmal isn't trying to be anything other than a local business. We handle our daily tasks, talk to the people we need to talk to, and try to keep things organized on our floor. It’s a lot of work sometimes, but that’s just how life is. We’re just regular people working in an old building, making sure things get done right. We have some tea, we work, and we go home like everyone else.
