Krishna Snacks Bar

This little snack bar is located at 45, Bankim Mukherjee Sarani in New Alipur, which is near the Taratala area in Block D. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads, but we still get plenty of people coming by. New Alipur is a nice residential neighborhood, so we see a lot of the same people every day. They stop by for a quick snack or a tea while they’re out for a walk or on their way back from work. The shop itself is small and compact. We don't have a lot of room for big groups, but that’s part of the charm. It’s the kind of place where you stand and eat or take your food to go. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the locals know exactly where to find us. We don’t have any fancy logos or a website. We just rely on the fact that we are here on Bankim Mukherjee Sarani every day. The counters are made of simple stone, and we keep everything within arm's reach. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, so we keep the door open to catch whatever breeze comes down the street. It’s a very simple operation. We prepare everything right there where you can see it. It’s just a snack bar for the neighborhood, nothing more and nothing less. We just try to do our job well every single day. That's just how we run things in this part of town.
