You can find Kolkata Foodbook Private Limited right on the EM Bypass, opposite Metro 618 in the Kalikapur area. Being near the bypass means there is always a lot of traffic and noise outside, but it’s a great spot for being seen. We are in the 700099 area of Kolkata. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our files and meet to talk about food. We do a lot of tracking and documenting of food-related things, hence the name Foodbook. We aren't a restaurant ourselves, but we are definitely part of the food scene here. The team is small, just a couple of people who grew up in this city and love its flavors. We spend a lot of time on our phones and computers, but we also get out into the streets a lot. It’s a lot of trial and error as we figure out what works for us. We don't have a big corporate culture or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and try to stay organized. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially with the construction and traffic always happening right outside our door. But that’s just part of being in Kolkata. We’ve been at this address for a bit and we’ve gotten used to the hustle. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we get things done eventually.
