Kohli Catering Service is located at 20 Jawaharlal Nehru Road, right in the New Market area. We are pretty much opposite the Lindsay Sree Leather shop, which is a big landmark around here that everyone knows. Kolkata is a city that never really stays quiet, and JN Road is right in the thick of it. The 700087 area is always filled with people looking for shoes, clothes, or something to eat. Our space is tucked into the busy streetscape. It is not a massive office, just a functional place where we coordinate all our work. We spend a lot of time on the phone and handling the logistics of the day. The noise from the traffic outside is constant, with the yellow taxis honking all day long. We have been at this spot for a good number of years. The building is old, like most things in this part of Kolkata, with high ceilings and thick walls. We do not have a fancy website or a big neon sign. Most people find us because they were already in New Market or someone told them where we are. It is hard work, especially when the weather gets hot and humid in Bengal. We just focus on getting the jobs done and keeping our equipment ready for the next day. It is a simple operation run by people who know these streets well. We like being near the market because everything we need is close by.
