Khandelwal Caterer

This is Khandelwal Caterer, and we operate out of 26 Nutan Bazar Rajbari. We are on P K Tagore Street, which is in the Beadon Street area, 700006. Being a catering business is a bit different from a regular restaurant. We don't always have people sitting down here, but we are always cooking for someone’s party or event. The Nutan Bazar area is very traditional and busy. Our space is filled with big pots and large stoves because we have to cook in large quantities. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and long hours, especially during the wedding season. Sometimes we are up all night making sure everything is packed and ready to go. We’ve been doing this for years, so we know the local streets and the best places to get our supplies. It’s a bit chaotic in the kitchen when a big order is due, but we have a rhythm. We don’t really have a website or anything like that; most people just find us through word of mouth in the neighborhood. We focus on the work itself rather than talking about it. We pack up the vans and head out to wherever we are needed.
