Kanchan Caterer

Kanchan Caterer is located at 42/169, New Ballygunge Road in Tiljala. It's a busy neighborhood and we’ve been part of it for a while now. Our spot isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. Most of the day is spent handling food or checking on our equipment. The New Ballygunge Road area stays lively, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We don’t go for anything fancy here. The walls are plain, and the focus is purely on the work at hand. We handle everything from the initial prep to the final cleanup ourselves. It’s a lot of standing and a lot of heat from the burners, especially in the summer months. Tiljala is a place where people work hard, and we try to do the same. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the orders right and make sure everything is where it needs to be on time. Sometimes we run into delays with deliveries or supplies, but that is just part of the business. You won’t find any corporate talk here, just regular people trying to run a decent catering service. We know the streets around here like the back of our hand now. It’s a simple operation, really. We open up early, get the stoves going, and see where the day takes us. There is always a lot of cleaning to do before we can go home, but it is just part of the routine.
