K Caterer

K Caterer is located right near the Naba Nalanda School. Being so close to a school means our mornings are always filled with the sounds of children arriving and parents dropping them off. It’s a lively atmosphere to work in. Our place is simple and functional. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name K Caterer. Inside, it’s all about the food. We spend hours at the stoves and the prep tables. The kitchen is where we spend ninety percent of our time. It’s a lot of repetitive work—peeling, chopping, stirring, and cleaning. The smell of the cooking usually drifts out into the street, which I think the neighbors are used to by now. We’ve been at this location for some time, and we’ve built up a routine that works for us. We’re not a huge corporation with fancy offices; it’s just a few of us making sure the work gets done every day. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up for the next morning, but that’s just part of the deal. The area around the school is usually quiet in the afternoons once the classes are in session, which gives us a bit of peace to focus on the more detailed tasks. We just try to keep our heads down and do the work without making too much of a fuss. It’s a plain, hardworking life we’ve got here at our spot.
