You can find Jute Cotton Bag International on Dakshindari Road. We are up on the first floor. It is a pretty basic setup we have here. We deal with exactly what the name suggests, which is mostly jute and cotton bags. We spend our days checking quality and making sure the stitching is okay. It’s not glamorous work, but it keeps us busy. The 1st floor can get a bit stuffy during the summer months, but we open the windows and get a breeze. We have a few people working here who have been with us since the beginning. They know more about fabric than anyone else I know. We don’t have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers. We just talk to each other and get the bags out the door. Sometimes the shipments arrive late because of the road conditions outside, which is frustrating, but we deal with it. We like working with natural materials because they feel better than plastic. There’s always some lint on our clothes by the end of the day. It’s just how it goes. People stop by sometimes just to see the different sizes of bags we have. We don't have a fancy showroom, just the workspace. It works for us. We've been on Dakshindari Road long enough that the local tea shop knows our orders by heart. We just try to get the orders right and keep things moving without too much fuss.
