India Canvas Company

We are located at No. 88 Jamunalal Bazaz Street. It is an old part of the city and our shop fits right in with the surrounding buildings. We deal mostly with canvas, which is heavy and tough work to handle day in and day out. Our space is usually filled with the smell of raw fabric and the sound of heavy-duty scissors. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have stacks of canvas rolls and a few sturdy tables where we measure and cut everything. The street outside is usually very busy with porters and carts moving goods back and forth. It can get quite loud, but we are used to the commotion by now. Most of our customers are people who need durable material for various projects, and they know where to find us. We don't do much in the way of promotion; word of mouth has always been enough for us. It is just a small team here, and we all pitch in with the heavy lifting when a new shipment arrives. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to move the big rolls, but we get it done. We’ve been on Jamunalal Bazaz Street for a long time and we’ve seen the neighborhood change, but we just keep doing what we do. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy every day of the week, just making sure the canvas gets out.
