Jai Ram Pan Stores

Our little shop is right on the ground floor on Vivekananda Road in Kolkata. We have been at this spot near Radhasree More for a while now. Most people know us for the pan we make, but we carry a few other small things too. It is a tiny space, honestly, but it works for what we do. Being in Italgacha means we see a lot of the same faces every single day. The traffic outside can be pretty loud and the street is always moving, but inside it is just the usual routine. I spend a lot of time prepping the leaves and getting the mixtures ready. It is not a glamorous job, but it keeps the neighborhood happy. We do not have a big team or anything, just a couple of us making sure everything is fresh. Sometimes we run out of things if the supply truck is late, that is just life in the city. The shop is not fancy at all, just a counter and some shelves. We open early because that is when people are heading to the metro or their offices. It is nice to have a chat with the regulars while they wait. We try to keep things organized but in a small shop like this, stuff tends to pile up. It is a local spot, nothing more and nothing less. Just a simple corner in Kolkata where you can get your daily fix.
