Jai Guru Enrich Ladies Beauty Parlour

We are located at 2.5 No on Pulin Avenue. It's right by the 2.5 Number Airport Gate in Kolkata. You can hear the planes taking off all day and night from here. It’s a bit of a loud neighborhood but you get used to it after a while. The parlour is a small space with a big glass front. We have the name written on the door. Inside, we have three chairs and a small table where we keep our scissors and combs. The floor is covered in blue tiles that we put in a few years back. They’re easy to sweep when hair gets everywhere. We get a lot of women who live in the apartments around Pulin Avenue. Some are going to the airport for work and stop by for a quick threading. It’s a busy road so there’s always someone passing by. We keep a small fridge in the corner for cold water because the heat gets bad in the afternoons. The walls are decorated with some simple mirrors that make the room look bigger than it actually is. We don't do any fancy marketing or anything. People just see the sign and come in. We’ve been at this spot for a good amount of time now. The street lights outside flicker sometimes in the evening but we have our own backup. It’s just a regular shop where we do our work and talk to the neighbors.
