Irony

The business we call Irony is situated at Swabhumi. The address is 89C, Moulana Abul Kalam Azad Sarani. It is quite a long name for a road, but most people just know the area well enough. We work out of a space that feels a bit different from the usual office blocks. Being at Swabhumi gives us a bit of a creative atmosphere, though it is still a place of work. We spend a lot of our time figuring out how to put things together. The daily routine is pretty simple. We open up the doors, let some air circulate, and then get started on the tasks of the day. There are tools and materials scattered around because we are always in the middle of something. It is not a very tidy place, but we know where everything is kept. The walk down Moulana Abul Kalam Azad Sarani can be quite nice in the mornings before the sun gets too hot. We have a few people who help out with the heavy lifting and the general upkeep of the shop. Sometimes we get visitors who are just wandering through Swabhumi and they stop in to see what we are doing. We don't have a big sales pitch for them. We just show them what is on the benches at that moment. It is a steady way to spend the day. We focus on the practical side of making things and try not to overcomplicate our process.
