Indian The Profesional Spa Saloon

Our shop is on the ground floor of a building on Jhawtalla Road in Baguihati. It is very easy to find because we are right near the Lokenath Mander. Being on the ground floor is good because people don't have to climb any stairs. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and people walking to the temple. Inside, it is a bit quieter. We have a few chairs set up for haircuts and some space in the back for the other stuff. I try to keep the place tidy, but with hair flying around all day, it's hard work. The walls are painted a simple color and we have some bright lights so I can see what I am doing. I’ve lived in Kolkata my whole life and this shop is where I spend most of my time. We get all sorts of people coming in, from young kids who won't sit still to older men who have been coming to this road for years. I use a lot of water and soap, and the smell of the shop is always a mix of those things. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it's on high, but it keeps us cool. We don't have any fancy brochures or anything like that. People just come in, tell me what they want, and I get to work. It is a basic setup, but it works for the people around here in Baguihati. I keep a jar of sweets for the kids who come in.
