Indian Gifts Center

Indian Gifts Center is located at 11 Moira Danga Road in Baranagar. We have a small shop right there on the road where we keep all kinds of gift items and little things for the house. Baranagar is a busy area and Moira Danga Road always has something going on. Our shop isn't very fancy. We have wooden shelves that we built ourselves and the floor is just plain. We spend our days arranging the items and waiting for people to walk in. Sometimes we have a lot of people at once and the shop feels very small, and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the traffic outside. We carry things like small statues, photo frames, and various items that people like to give as presents. We don't use a computer for everything; sometimes we still write things down in a notebook. It’s just an old-fashioned way of doing business, but it works for us. People from the neighborhood know us by name and we know them too. We don't have a big sign with flashing lights, just a simple one so you can find us at number 11. It is a simple life running a gift shop on Moira Danga Road. We just keep the shelves stocked and try to be helpful to whoever comes in looking for a little something to take home. We stay open pretty late most nights for those passing by.
