Our place, Housez43, is right on Bentinck Street in Kolkata. The address is number 84. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s famous for all the shops and the history. It’s a very old-school part of town. We are right in the thick of it. Every morning, the street wakes up with a lot of noise—horns honking, people shouting, and the general buzz of commerce. We fit right in. Our office isn't anything spectacular to look at from the outside, but it gets the job done. We deal with a lot of property-related stuff, so there are always maps and papers spread out over the desks. It gets a bit messy sometimes when we are busy. We don’t have a receptionist in a suit or a fancy lobby. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from what we’re doing to say hello. We’ve been at this Bentinck Street location for a while now. We know the other shop owners on the block. It feels like a little community even though it’s so busy.
