We are based out of 16 Southern Avenue. It’s a nice part of town with a lot of old trees and people walking their dogs in the morning. Our office is just a regular room where we keep all our property files and a few computers. It gets quite a bit of light through the windows in the afternoon, which is nice. Most of the day is spent checking on listings or calling back people who left messages about wanting to see a flat or a house nearby. We have been in this location for a while, so we know the street pretty well. It isn't a very large space, just enough for us to sit and talk with whoever stops by to ask about prices in the neighborhood. We don’t have a big receptionist or anything like that. Usually, one of us just looks up from the desk when the door opens. Sometimes we walk down the street to grab a snack or some coffee when things are slow. The work is mostly just keeping track of which places are available and making sure the paperwork is sorted out correctly. It can be a bit tedious with all the forms, but that is just how the business goes. We like being on Southern Avenue because it feels more like a home than a stiff office building and the commute isn't too bad for us.
