Hi Choice Gents Saloon

Hi Choice Gents Saloon is situated at 89, Block B on Bangur Avenue. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just walk in off the street. The AC Market is very close by, so there is always a lot of activity in this part of Kolkata. We mostly handle men’s haircuts and shaves. It is a straightforward business. We don't have any complicated menus or anything like that. You come in, sit in the chair, and tell us what you want. The shop has that familiar smell of shaving cream and aftershave. We spend a lot of time on our feet, especially during the weekends when everyone wants to look sharp for the week ahead. Bangur Avenue is a nice place to be, and we have many regulars from the nearby apartments. Sometimes we have the cricket on the small television in the corner if there is a big match happening. The noise from the street is always there, but we are used to the Kolkata bustle. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long for their turn. It is just a normal gents' salon where we do our work and keep the shop running as best as we can. We've seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the shop stays pretty much the same as always.
