Hemant Cargo International Pvt Ltd is located at 40C Chittaranjan Avenue. We are on the second floor in the Bowbazar area. It is an old part of the city, and our building has that classic feel to it. You have to climb some stairs to get to us, but it is not too bad. We have been in the cargo business for quite some time. The office is filled with files and old ledgers because we like to keep track of things properly. We do not have a flashy reception desk or a coffee machine that makes lattes. Usually, it is just plain tea or water for us. Dealing with cargo means we spend a lot of time talking to customs and transport guys. It is not always easy, and sometimes there are delays at the port or with the trucks. We don't try to sugarcoat things for our clients. If there is a problem, we just tell them and try to fix it. Bowbazar is a busy place, and the noise from the street usually drifts up to our windows. We have gotten used to the sound of the trams and the traffic. Our team is small, but we have worked together for years, so we know each other's habits. We just focus on moving freight. It is a lot of coordination and making sure the labels are right. We keep things simple because that is what works for us in this trade.
