Handsome Saloon

Handsome Saloon is over in Kalindi, specifically at A/5 in the Kalindi Housing area, right by Vatika Market in A Block. It’s a men’s hair cutting shop, mostly. We’ve been here serving the guys in the neighborhood for years. Most of our regulars are men who’ve been coming to us since they were kids. It’s a typical local saloon. We have the big mirrors, the old-style barber chairs that still work fine, and a lot of talk about cricket or local news. We do haircuts, shaves, and head massages. Nothing complicated. You won't find any fancy hair gels or expensive treatments here. Just a good old-fashioned shave with a straight razor and a steady hand. The floor is usually covered in hair until we sweep it up between customers. It’s a small place, so it can get pretty cramped on Saturday mornings when everyone wants a trim. We have a bench outside for people to sit if the two chairs inside are full. The fans are always going, and there's usually a newspaper lying around for you to read. We don't take appointments; you just show up and wait your turn. It’s how it’s always been done in Kalindi. We know most of the people who walk through the door.
